Neptune Chemical Pump Co. has added the Abaque Series peristaltic pump product line to its portfolio for the Americas. Since 2009, the Abaque series has been manufactured at the Pump Solution Group (PSG) Blackmer facility in Grand Rapids, MI. The product line will now be manufactured and shipped from PSG’s Neptune facility in North Wales, PA. Pumps are still available in nine different models/sizes, ranging from the AB10 to the AB100, with flow rates from 07 to 211 gpm. The move was made to better align the Abaque series with PSG products that serve the same primary target markets.

Globally, Abaque Series pumps will remain available via Mouvex, a France-based member of PSG. The pumps feature a seal-free design to eliminate leaks and product contamination, allowing them to handle a variety of difficult applications in the oil & gas, chemical process, industrial & municipal water treatment, paint & coatings, and mining industries. Additionally, the pumps are self-priming and are able to run dry continuously without sacrificing performance. The Abaque series pump can run in either forward or reverse and has suction-lift capabilities to 29.5 feet (9 meters). Neptune Chemical Pumps Co. manufactures the pump with ductile iron and steel, enabling them to offer maximum discharge pressures to 217 psi (15 bar).

Buyers can order the Abaque Series pump as a bare-shaft pump or with multiple drive options. Standard drive configurations include: C-face gear reducer or C-face gear reducer with TEFC, explosion-proof or single-phase motors.
