Blackmer to exhibit at propane gas expoMarch 02, 2011
Pump manufacturer Blackmer will exhibit at the National Propane Gas Association's 2011 Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo in Atlanta next month. The NPGA show draws thousands of industry professionals and is the largest propane event in the world.
Blackmer specializes in positive displacement pumps, including rotary vane pumps and reciprocating-gas compressor technologies. The pump manufacturer will feature a variety of its liquefied gas pumps and oil-free gas compressors at its booth. Blackmer will also be provide information on its growing line of LGL Series pumps. These sliding vane pumps can either be stationary or truck mounted. They are available in configurations that allow for lower flow rates and they can be powered by a single-phase motor.
The LGL pumps use Blackmer's unique pump cavitation suppression liner design to reduce noise, vibration, and wear normally caused by entrained vapors. The pumps also feature a ductile iron construction with internal relief valves, excellent self-priming and dry run capabilities, and easy maintenance.
