Clark Solutions' "Push Fit" Boxer Series S for Sampling Devices

Contributed by: PumpScout Staff

Clark Solutions, headquartered in MA, USA, manufactures pumps, valves, and instrumentation for variety of industries. Its Boxer Series S Gas Diaphragm Pump is designed for use in sampling devices such as portable gas detectors and micro-fluidic dispensing systems and features a push/pull mounting bracket that allows for tool-free pump removal and replacement.

Clark Solutions’ Boxer Series S offers superior pumping efficiency for air/gas, consuming 18mA for an air flow of 0.8 l/min at 4.5V. This pump can function at minimum temperatures of -20°C (-4°F).

Boxer Series S Pumps include PPO housings and silicone diaphragms and valves. They can be powered by a permanent magnet DC motor (4.5 or 6.5 VDC) or core-less motor (6, 9, 12, 18, or 24 VDC).

The pumps can handle maximum free flow for gases to 1.8 LPM, vacuum to 300 mbar (225 mmHg), and pressure to 7.25 PSI (500 mBar). Boxer pumps offer the unique ability to end-users or mounting the pumps as a ‘push fit’ into existing equipment. The pumps are designed to fit snugly onto the crank-case lid, allowing customers to easily remove and replace the pump without any tools required –simply push the pump onto the lid and pull it out at any time.
