Griswold Pump 811 Series pumps ideal for industrial coke manufacturing processesAugust 17, 2011
Pump manufacturer Griswold says it's 811 Series ANSI Centrifugal Pumps are ideal for use in coke-manufacturing processes, especially in the removal of harmful byproducts from the centrifuge, according to a company news release.
Those byproducts play an important role in many other industries once they are removed from the centrifuge and pumped out of the facility. For example, foundry coke -- available in a range of forms including industrial coke, egg coke and carbon coke -- is used in the making of steel.
Griswold's 811 Series ANSI pumps are constructed liquid paths that feature a high-grade stainless steel able to withstand corrosive fluids that are produced in the making of industrial coke. The pump series also feature enhanced power frames that make them stronger than many other models and result in increased performance and longevity. The pumps come in a full range of sizes with options that are tailored to meet any fluid-processing flow rate up to 4,000 gpm.
