Mouvex, a PSG Dover brand, is a leading manufacturer of positive displacement pumps for the food and beverage industry. This year, the company will highlight its eccentric disc pumps at the international trade fair for the food and drink industry, Anuga FoodTec 2015. The trade fair will be held in Cologne, Germany from March 24-27.

Wasted product is a longstanding concern in the food and drink industry. During this year’s show, Mouvex will focus on counteracting waste during production by illustrating how its eccentric disc pump technologies enable product recovery. Product recovery refers to high yield of products or ingredients that would otherwise remain in suction or discharge process lines during changeovers or at the end of production runs.

“Resource efficiency is the top theme at this year’s Anuga FoodTec,” says Rudolf Voland, Senior Regional Sales Manager for Mouvex. “One area where resource efficiency can be improved is by optimizing product recovery during the production process, and Mouvex eccentric disc pumps are the ideal solution for reducing waste and recovering profits. Thanks to an innovative operating principle that provides a non-pulsing, low-slip operation with high volumetric consistency, Mouvex pumps can achieve product-recovery rates of 60% to 80% or more.”

Through a presentation titled “Product Recovery: Don’t Leave Profits in the Pipeline,” Senior Regional Sales Manager Rudolf Voland will educate food and beverage manufacturers on how eccentric disc pumps can help them achieve maximum product recovery. The presentation will take place on March 25 from 3:30-4:30 pm in the Speaker’s Corner at Anuga FoodTec. Additionally, Mouvex eccentric disc pump models will be displayed at the company’s booth at the show.

Mouvex manufactures various styles of eccentric disc pump technologies, all of which are seal-less and feature CIP/SIP capabilities.
