National Pump and Compressor to provide federal government with pumpsNovember 29, 2011
National Pump and Compressor is now certified to provide goods and services to the federal government with its new GSA Schedule 56 contract. The pump company has placed its extensive line of industrial pumps on the General Services Administration's electronic ordering system, GSA Advantage.
"We've been a significant part of America's water and sewer infrastructure rebuilding projects, and with the majority of those projects being sourced to government vetted companies, there's no better vetting than being awarded a GSA Schedule contract," said Johnny Norwood, National Pumps and Compressor's national accounts and contracts manager.
The company is expanding its fleet and equipment rental program, and recently opened a new branch in Oklahoma City, OK. National Pump and Compressor is also doubling its manufacturing facility in Beaumont, TX and adding four to six new locations in the next few months. The company currently has 29 locations. NPC provides professional grade pumps, air compressors and dryer to municipalities and industry contractors.
NPC used Florida-based GSA Applications to facilitate the application preparation, submission and negotiations with government buyers. The Florida company uses its industry experience and in-house specialists to provide professional government marketing services to businesses.
