Pump Solutions Group (PSG®) recently donated bicycles and helmets to children associated with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley at the Mission San Juan Capistrano in California. A business unit of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV), PSG is a global leader in positive displacement pumps and related technologies.

The bikes were built and donated through the corporate team-building program “Bike Build for Charity” by Impact 4 Good. The company hosts socially responsible activities for meetings and events. This event, located at the Mission San Juan Capistrano in California, featured a trivia challenge in which points translated to bike parts and tools. Teams composed of PSG employees and the child who would ultimately receive the bicycle used their earned ‘points’ and worked together to build said bicycle.

“The members chosen to attend this event do not have new bikes and do not have the financial means to purchase a bike. Receiving a bike is a dream,” says Nicole Watson, Unit Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley.

“At PSG, we are passionately committed to making a difference in our surrounding communities,” says Dean Douglas, President of Pump Solutions Group (PSG). “We’re thrilled to participate in important programs, such as the Bike Build for Charity Program, and look forward to helping others in need for many years to come.”
