Several Concentrated Solar Power projects in Spain and India announced they will use Sulzer Pumps products over the next two years.
Sulzer Pumps is an active player in global CSP and the recent spate of orders from Spain and India further reinforce its position and commitment as a major supplier to the global CSP market, the company announced in a new release.
The scope of the orders headed to India and Spain includes the design, manufacture and installation of cooling water pumps, feed water pumps, condensate extraction pumps and auxiliary pump packages. The pumps will be manufactured and packaged from Sulzer’s global manufacturing network and will be installed in 2013 and 2014.

The orders in India are part of the first phase of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM). The JNNSM policy involves photovoltaic and CSP projects to provide electricity to support the rapidly growing Indian economy.
