Thompson Pump announces strategic partnerships with distributorsSeptember 06, 2011
Thompson Pump and Manufacturering, a full-service provider of portable pumps, pumping equipment and engineering expertise, announced partnerships this week with Gajeske Inc., Best Line Equipment, and Power Equipment Company, according to a Thompson news release.
Texas-based Gajeske will represent the Thompson Pump line from their Houston, Grand Prairie, Beaumont, and greater San Antonio and Austin locations. Founded by Bob Gajeske, Sr. in 1986, Gajeske has been a pioneer in the high-density polyethylene piping industry.
Best Line Equipment, headquartered in State College, Penn., will also distribute Thompson Pump products. The pump supplier is supported by a large parts department and 24-hour emergency service.
And Thompson also formed a partnership with the Power Equipment Company, which serves the construction, mining, aggregate and oil and gas industries throughout the Mountain West. The Power Equipment Company has branches in Denver, Grand Junction, Col. Colorado Springs, Casper, Wyo., and Alburquerque, New Mexico.
John Farrell, Thompson Pump’s vice president of sales, called the partnerships strategic and said they complement and enhance the three companies’ product lines while helping Thompson Pump increase its market penetration in those areas.
Thompson Pump makes a range of pumps in diameters from 2 to 18 inches and with 5 to 500 horsepower. The pump manufacturer’s products include wet-prime trash pumps, dry-prime trash pumps with compressor-assisted or vacuum-assisted priming systems, sound attenuated pumps, hydraulic power units with submersible pump ends, diaphragm pumps, rotary pumps and high pressure jet pumps.
