The center with be responsible for off-site repair and maintenance works by a permanent engineer team in addition to housing strategic stock for reduced delivery time to customers.
A team of mobile engineers will support the permanently-based service center engineers. A permanent sales team will also work out of the new location in an adjacent office.

“Weir Minerals already has a strong presence in Poland, having supplied mining, quarrying, recycling and other industrial businesses here for over two decades,” says Jaroslaw Kukawski, regional sales manager Poland at Weir Minerals. “The new facility means we can get closer to customers and prospects around the country, improving the service we already provide and developing our proposition for winning business. An important part of this is the step change the facility will allow in the after-sales support we provide our customers, with emergency response times improved and delivery times for spare parts significantly improved. Poland is a key market for Weir Minerals, and this investment demonstrates our commitment to working with Polish businesses to help them get more productive and more efficient.”
