Pump Solutions Group (PSG) is a business unit within Dover Corporation specializing in positive displacement pumps and related technologies. Earlier this month, its Wilden Turbo-Flo Z air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps received the Safety Certificate Approval for Mining Products in China, clearing them to be used in mining operations in the country.

The accreditation process involved the review of technical documents, production equipment and testing instruments, testing of the certified product, and on-site assessment of the manufacturer’s facility qualifications of technical capability. Following the completion of this process, the certificate was presented by the Mining Products Safety Approval and Certification Center (MA Center).

“PSG is proud to receive this important certificate, confirming the safe use of our leading Turbo-Flo Z AODD pumps in China mining operations,” says David Wang, PSG Vice President of Asia-Pacific. “At PSG, safety is one of our core beliefs and this certificate is an example of the safe products we are providing the marketplace.”

Turbo-Flo Z pumps have several features that increase safety and easer of use in mining applications. No electrical components or motors reduce the risk of combustion inside the mine, while a long mean time between repairs (MbTr) and simple assembly ensures high durability and efficiency. The pumps also offer large solid transfer, lube-free, dry-run, deadhead, and self-priming capabilities.
