Product Information

KNOLL America offers a wide range of pumps for the industrial and sanitary markets.

Industrial Pumps

- Horizontal Centrifugal Pumps for Corrosive Applications

Horizontal Centrifugal Pumps for Corrosive Applications

Pumps are manufactured in polypropylene (PP) temperatures to 150 F. and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) temperatures to 194 F. for pumping corrosive liquids. They are suitable for various applications in chemical, plating and water treatment applications Pump flows are from 10 G.P.M. @ 21 ft. of head with ½ hp to 265 G.P.M. @ 84 ft. of head with 15 hp motor. A mechanical shaft seal of either Viton or EPDM is available. Open impeller design allows pumping dirty fluids with small-suspended solids. Pumps are able to handle low viscosities up to 500 cps. Pumps are not self-priming and require a positive suction head. Pumps should be mounted below the liquid level to prevent dry operation.

- Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps for Corrosive Applications

KNOLL Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps for Corrosive Applications

Pump housing and impeller is available in polypropylene (PP) temperatures to 150F. or polyvinylidene (PVDF) to 194F.  The elimination of the shaft seal limits liquid leakage of aggressive fluids due to component wear. Pumps are suitable for various chemical transfer and circulation applications for aggressive liquids. Pump flows are from 12 G.P.M. @ 18 ft. of head with ½ hp motor to 80 G.P.M. @ 67 ft. of head with a 5 hp motor.

Pumps cannot operate in a dry run condition. They are designed for clean liquids only. Dirty or contaminated fluids can reduce pump life. Pump should be mounted below the liquid level to prevent dry operation.

- High Pressure Triple Screw Pumps

KNOLL High Pressure Triple Screw Pumps

Knoll specializes in high-pressure coolant pumps. Design feature of silicon carbide housing provides a unique wear surface that eliminates mechanical wear from abrasive particulate. The KNOLL high-pressure screw pump is recognized world wide as the most wear resistant pump for high volume, high pressure pumping of abrasive fluids. The pump is capable of pumping low or high viscous fluids including epoxy and glue compounds at elevated pressures. The KNOLL screw pump is idea at flows up to 220 G.P.M. and pressures to 2,175 PSI of abrasive or viscous liquids. Pump housing construction is steel or 316 stainless steel for chemical applications.

- Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps

Knoll America offers AODD pumps for both the sanitary and industrial applications. Pumps are self-priming and capable of dry operation.

Sanitary Pumps AODD Pump

KNOLL Sanitary Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps

The Saniboxer pump is a 3A sanitary 316 stainless steel model for food and pharmaceutical applications. The pump is capable of pumping up to 30 G.P.M. at 90 PSI. Maximum diameter of solids is 1/8”. Suction and discharge ports are 1 ½”. The patented easy clean valve prevents the formation of fluid residues. The can be rotated 360 degrees for orientation and piping accessibility.

KNOLL Sanitary Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps

The Foodboxer is a 316 stainless version with FDA approved elastomer for the food industry. There are 8 different models providing flows from 6 G.P.M. to 238 G.P.M. @ 90 PSI. Maximum particle the pump can pump is 25/64”. Self-priming capability is 15 ft. Pumps offer an adjustable flow rate and discharge pressure. Pumps require non-lubricated air for operation.

Industrial

KNOLL Migetbox Industrial Pump

The compact Migetbox and Cubic 15 are compact pumps for various low flow industrial applications. The Migetbox is constructed of polypropylene and the Cubic 15 is available in either polypropylene or Halar (ECTE). The Migetbox is capable of pumping 1.3 G.P.M. @ 90 PSI. The Cubic 15 pumps 4.5 G.P.M. @ 90 PSI. Both pumps offer an adjustable flow rate and discharge pressure. Pumps require non-lubricated air for operation.

KNOLL Boxer Industrial AODD Pump

The Boxer pumps for industrial applications are available in plastic and metal construction. The plastic models offered are polypropylene (PP) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). The metal construction is of aluminum or 316 grade stainless steel.

Sanitary Pumps

- Progressive Cavity Pumps

KNOLL America offers its MX model progressive cavity pump for food, chemical and pharmaceutical applications. The 3A hygienic pump is easy to service and is ideal for transporting anything from free-flowing fluids to high viscous material up to 1 millions cps. Modular design allows for easy change out of up to 9 different size rotors and stators in the same model group.

KNOLL Progressive Cavity Pump

Pump models range up to 880 G.P.M. All pump models develop up to 580 PSI and select versions are capable of producing up to 1,160 PSI.  Pumps can pump soft food pieces such as strawberries or mushrooms up to 4” in diameter without damaging the product. Pumps are self-cleaning with CIP or SIP. Models include hopper style for non-flowing material. Submersible for low to medium viscosity products and double jacketed for temperature regulation. A pump model for butter or cheese block pumping is also available.

Drum Unloading Pump Systems

KNOLL Drum Unloading Pump Systems

A pneumatically operated 55-gallon drum unloading system featuring an electrically driven progressive cavity pump is available for viscous materials with the consistency of peanut butter or tomato paste. A 25 G.P.M. and a 60 G.P.M. drum unloader are offered as options. Both pumps are capable of 145 PSI pressure delivery. An electric driven pump provides a substantial increase in energy efficiency over less efficient air driven pumps.

Energy efficient electric motor driven pump conversion kits are available to replace air-operated pumps.
